A Letter From the President....

Dear Friends,

We hope you enjoy the Animal Health Foundation's Web Site... This is an on-line effort to open communications between our organization and animal lovers in the community. The web site also serves as a vehicle for us to pass on valuable information to animal lovers. As we get to know each other, we hope you will enjoy our website and expect we will discover that we share many goals and ideals.

The Animal Health Foundation sponsors many projects including wildlife preservation projects, educational publishing, seminars/symposia, scholarships, assistance programs, animal health exhibitions and fund-raising events. Founded in 1967, the Animal Health Foundation is a non-profit organization, committed to improving the health and welfare of animals and the people who care about them. Through charitable, scientific, literary and educational activities we can help pets, wildlife and people who benefit from the relationships they share with animals.

Many thanks for support from William Randolph of Impromed and RMCARDS.COM who has helped the foundation with software, graphics and fundraising opportunities. Thanks to Glen Hall at Brainyard Creative for helping devolop the site. Dr. Glassberg has asked me to thank Nya Stilwell, Deàn Mastromatteo and Carol Staus for proof reading and correcting spelling and grammar errors.

The foundation's Board of Trustees is comprised of devoted pet lovers and pet professionals, including several veterinarians. We have developed ambitious plans for furthering the scope of our work and perhaps you'll find a way to join us in our efforts.

Best wishes...

Joe Cortese, D.V.M.

Lost And Found

What to Do If Your Pet Is Missing
by Dr. Theresa Fuess

What should you do if a beloved pet does not come when called and is nowhere to be found? When this happened to me, my heart sank. My head swam, and then I panicked. Fortunately, my kitten returned as mysteriously as she had disappeared. Next time I won't leave her fate to chance.
