Dorothy and Charles Nichols

Dorothy & Charlie Nichols both struggled with difficult childhoods and married at a very young age. In the beginning of their 66 year marriage, times were tough and both worked very hard and would only pay cash for what they bought including their first home. After working for many years in the oil fields my father decided that he wanted to open his own supply house to service the fields, so in 1946, with 2 children, he set out with flanges, fittings, etc. in the trunk of his car to try and establish a customer base that would have faith and take a chance on him. Over the years they built a very successful business and were able to enjoy the rewards they so richly deserved. Their company is still family owned and continues to thrive today. As their daughter, I would like to pay tribute to them for setting and achieving their goals and reaching their American dream.
