The Animal Health Foundation (AHF) is a charitable 501(c)(3) partner of the Southern California veterinary profession, supporting the companion animal community and wildlife in need. Each year AHF offers financial assistance to pets and their owners in times of need, including disaster relief and individuals directly affected by these economically challenging times. In addition, we support worthy causes and initiatives hosted by other organizations, such as the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA).
Founded in 1967, the organization focuses on serving communities in Los Angeles and Orange County with resources and references to professional services and benefits. Throughout the years, thousands of pets and families have benefited from funds directed towards worthy causes.

Our funding comes from the generosity of individual donors and companies who love animals and want to assist in enhancing their quality of life. Every effort is made to enhance the group’s resources.
Moving forward, AHF plans to introduce new initiatives and programs to further assist those in need. We are proud to help pets and their owners throughout Southern California.
